DANILO FERNANDEZ

Danilo Fernández was born in El Salvador in 1954 and has been a resident of Cadaques in Catalonia since 1976. Throughout his creative career, he has experimented with many materials such as watercolor, gouache, and oil, with a style defined by figurative landscape language but always leaving room for fantasy. People also emphasize his "transparencies" series, in which two or three photos are juxtaposed, generating new perspectives and points of view as if everything were made of crystal. Since 1982, he has been associated with Cadaqués, as has his work, such as the oils on canvas titled Dream Trails, which are the result of inspiration under the amorphous shapes of the rocks of Cap de Creus, evoking images of the subconscious, hidden desires, being inspirations, dream manifestations of an inner world in constant boiling.
